Welcome to Our Practice

We aim above all, to provide a first-class service, with the highest quality of hearing technology at competitive prices. This is backed up by an outstanding aftercare service to ensure that all of our clients gain maximum benefit from their hearing instruments.
If you are suffering from hearing loss and feel that your quality of life is being compromised then please contact us for a free no obligation consultation where we can show you how the latest advances in hearing technology can make the difference to you and your family.
Modern Hearing Aids
Modern digital hearing aids can analyse speech and other ambient sounds. Their way of sound processing helps them perform well in certain situations, such as background noise reduction. Programming flexibility allows sounds that match your individual needs and your level of hearing loss. The difference can be incredible.
Excess earwax can cause many symptoms, ranging from, a feeling of fullness in the ear canal, dizziness, hearing loss, ringing in the ears, earache, coughs and even unpleasant odours. To arrange an early appointment for microsuction earwax removal with trained experts in a safe and friendly environment, call us now.
Modern workplaces may include some challenging listening environments. Busy and noisy spaces make it hard if you have a hearing loss to join in with conversations. Enhancements in wireless connectivity with top-notch multi-beam microphones can greatly improve your cognition of speech in all situations.
Your ear has many tiny fibres which help you to hear. Ongoing exposure to loud noise, or even a single occurrence, can damage those fibres beyond repair. So, it’s crucial to protect your ears during work, leisure and sports activities, and we have a wide range of hearing protection solutions to help you in all environments.
Our hearing test will identify whether you have hearing loss and if hearing aids are needed to improve your quality of life. It’s vital to book a hearing test if you have any signs of even mild hearing loss. Treatment can rarely reverse the damage, but it can make your life easier and slow the cause of your declining hearing.
Spares and Repairs
Hearing aids are tiny technological marvels with many sophisticated parts that perform complex functions by the second. They work hard on your behalf, and occasionally, as a result, things can go wrong. Don’t despair, though; there are repair options for most types of modern hearing aids to get you hearing clearly again.

A Debt of Gratitude
May Eccles formed the business formerly known as The County Hearing Centre in June of 1984. May was Brian and Lorraine’s mother and Kayleigh’s grandmother and was the first of our three generations of Audiologists to provide private hearing aids, hearing tests and hearing healthcare services privately in Northamptonshire. May sadly passed away in May 2020 and the business owes much to her vision and drive which has made the business what it is today.
Our Hearing Centre Team
The Brian Eccles Hearing Centre is the product of three generations of hearing professionals. We have been serving those with hearing loss and helping them to improve their quality of life for well over three decades. During that time we have formed long-term relationships with many clients who we have come to regard as friends. All of our audiologists are fully qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) who set the highest standards of conduct, performance and ethics. We offer a sympathetic ear for you and all of your hearing needs.
